Enriko & Alisa Stigter

Enriko was born in the Netherlands. His family attended the Dutch Reformed Church, but it wasn’t until he was 18 that he realized he was a sinner and needed to believe in and surrender his life to Jesus to be saved. After he did so, he found out about the ship’s ministry of Operation Mobilization and joined this missions organization. It was on this ship that he met Alisa, who is now his wife and who grew up in Gig Harbor.
After three years on the ship Enriko moved to Singapore to complete a four year Bachelor degree in Theology at Singapore Bible College. Alisa and Enriko got married during this time, and while in Singapore they were involved with an international church where they led the youth ministry, small group ministry, and music ministry.
After finishing Bible College, they moved to Langley, BC, Canada, where Enriko completed an MA in Applied Linguistics. Upon graduation, they moved back to Gig Harbor. They started attending Discovery in 2016, and soon got involved in the youth ministry and music ministry. Enriko became a part of the church board, first as a deacon and then as an elder. Then in 2021, God opened the doors for Enriko to become a full-time pastor at the church.
Enriko and Alisa have three children: Lia, Hailey, and Felicity.
