Mary Amesbury

Mary was originally sent by Discovery and has since transferred her sending church responsibilities and oversight to the church she currently attends. Mary’s passion in campus ministry is directed at evangelizing the lost, providing a support network for Christian students who daily face criticism of their faith, and training the next generation of Christian leaders, equipped to share their faith and disciple others.
While in college, God brought many Christians into Mary’s life. Although she envied the direction and peace they had in their lives, she did not want their God. She wanted to control her own destiny. But at the age of 24, the Lord showed her that He was real and that He wanted to be intimately involved in her life. She received forgiveness for her sins on January 24, 1988. She has never regretted that decision.
