"Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe." (1 Tim. 4:12)
This is an awesome time in life—a time when many young people are faced with the personal choice to follow God with everything they've got. We at DBC want to do all we can to support that, whether it be through godly role models and teachers, Christian apologetics, or crazy games. We invite you to be a part of the teen group at DBC as we pursue God with all our heart and live out this incredible adventure of faith!
Our junior/senior high students have their own Sunday school class and meet throughout the entire year. See Sunday page for more info.
DMV (youth group)
Fridays, 5:30-7:30 - during the school year (Note: begins Sept 29, 2017, with the first night only starting at 6:15pm at the Stigter home.)
“You are the light of the world.... Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Mt. 5:14-16). DMV stands for "Disciple Me to Victory." Teens are invited to come hang out with friends (and make new ones), play team-building (and sometimes comical) games, and most importantly... connect with God as they study His Word together! Oh, and we eat dinner, too, at 5:30. $3 suggested donation.
